I was born in Évora, Portugal, grown up between Pemba, Mozambique and Lisbon, Portugal.
My father introduced me to photography when I was a kid and that passion just grow with me so much that I decided to pursue my studies in the Portuguese Institute of Photography to become a photographer.

I am a Professional VR Photographer in Lisbon, Portugal providing my clients a full portfolio of 360° imaging services.

Currently, I want to shoot more images for my own pleasure than as my professional obligation, but of course I am always open to new experiences and learning/expanding skills is a never ending task that I happily pursue.

Part of this never ending task is to give back some of my VR Photography knowledge to the community and that's why I am currently member of the IVRPA Board of Directors.

Born in 1960 I wanted to become a photographer right after school in the early 80s.
But as things sometimes don't turn out as expected I first had to go through many years of studies, working in advertising agencies, multimedia startups, raising children and all that kind of stuff before I finally managed to get back to my roots.

The new lit fire took me straight into spherical panoramas and I am still enjoying this amazing technique. Luckily I was able to find some customers that support me to follow this line and bring panoramic photography to a new experience, especially in the field of computer simulations.

With my background in general marketing I also discovered a talent to help customers to bring things to the point. This is why I get invited to help companies develop the content for and appearance of their web pages, packagings and general advertising material.

Born in 1950 in Bremen Germany, Mecanical Engineer, Worked for a large german company in the construction of industrial plants all over the world. Now retired.

Hobby photographer.

First contact with QTVR 1997, first QTVRs in 1998 (QTVRAS) Since 2004 spherical panoramas.

Born in 1955. First camera at 14. First paied photo at 17 or 18. First job for a Magazine at 19. First long trip wiht Jacques Cousteau on a Expedition at 28. First Panorama (QTVR) at 42. First paied QTVR at 43. And today 2010 at 55 years old still running everyday to get what I want :-) So here I am !!!

Photography is in my blood and I discovered that when I made my first picture at age sixteen. I became a professional at the age of 25 when I got my grade for photography from the Dutch "Fotovakschool". I also studied at Hans Goetze, now the Academy for Photography. Most of my work was commercial and in 1999 I started to make 396 degrees panoramic images and my work shifted more to editorial and interactive photography for websites and CD-Roms and DVDs. My art photos are bought in medium and large sizes and I sell them through exhibitions in museums, at art markets and in galleries.

I am an experienced traveller, also to remote areas, I speak 3 languages fluently and 3 fairly well so communication during travel is not a problem. I travelled through many countries in Europe, North, West and Central Africa and the United States including Alaska. I also visited Middle and South America and Borneo, Indonesia for WWF and Greenpeace to make panoramas of illegal logging and in Uganda of reforestation. Highlight was an expedition to the Antarctic as part of an art project. Recently I was send to Mali for a Dutch NGO to help a photolab there and to improve their quality.

I like to shoot landscapes, cityscapes and people. The nicest moment of the day is sunset or rise and the twilight zone during the short period when the light is growing or fading. A lot of my pictures are taken in this short but beautiful period. On the Antarctic and in Alaska the sun sets lasted for hours so this was a real "Eldorado".

Sandra Mexa's picture

I was born in 1971 and grew up between my father's artistic drawings and paintings. Art always was a interesting subject for me and so was photography. Soon I got to use my father's old Pentax camera and found a way to learn more about photography.

I studied Economics and Management and got my Management Degree in 1994. By that time I decided to start a photography course where I met Carlos Chegado and a couple of years later we started a company: Olho de Peixe - Fish Eye, currently working in Photography among other businesses.
