Kolor

Kolor is a software company specialized in all types of image stitching. Kolor is the creator of Autopano Pro, the leading program for panorama creation and image stitching for the general public. Autopano software range also includes the new Autopano Giga, dedicated to gigapixel panorama and virtual tour creation, and Autopano Server, a world exclusive solution that integrates a command-line image stitching service into websites and servers.

Kolor has many exciting projects for the upcoming months. Paris 20 Gigapixels will be the world’s biggest assembled image. This stitching of 2000 individual images will be available via the internet so that anyone will be able to zoom in the minor details of Paris monuments. Version 2 of Autopano has also been announced. This major update will make Autopano even faster, more efficient and will add Flash output capabilities and HDR extended support.

Kolor is much implicated in its clients’ follow-up: forums, users’ gallery of panoramic images and an annual meeting are proposed. For the first time, users are also invited to publish their best panoramas in the annual Panorama Book, an exciting project that gives professional as well as amateur photographers the chance to have their photos published into a quality book.
Kolor is present at the two major image and photo fairs: Siggraph (USA) and Photokina (Germany).
