Gavin is a panoramic photographer with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a Director on the board of the International Virtual Reality Photographer’s Association (IVRPA) from 2014-2015. In 2008 he partnered with xRez Studio in the groundbreaking Yosemite Extreme Panoramic Imaging Project. In 2010 he worked alongside Canon's "Explorer of Light" Clint Clemens to capture Gigapixel imagery of ancient murals throughout Tibet. In 2014 he launched the online webcast “The Panographer’s” which showcases the best panoramic photographers in the world. In 2014 Gavin's expertise in image composition made him invaluable in creating the final stitched image for TIME's historical One World Trade Center spherical gigapixel panorama. He has also been the Senior Design Manager on the Ad Creative Technology Team at Yahoo! since 2007. In 2014 Gavin successfully launched the first panoramic gyroscopic mobile units on Yahoo! and he has actively pushed panoramic and VR experiences across the wider tech industry.
