The Middle East Conflict: A VR perspective
Being a VR photographer living in the Middle East, I've been interested in how VR photography has been used to cover the war between Israel and Lebanon.
I myself had a go at VR photojournalism by photographing a demonstration against the war in Cairo. What was interesting to me, other than the fact that my panorama is out of focus, was that I was able to share a real event that happened and was not reported about at all in both my local or online news media. So if a tree fell in the forest and no one was there to see it, did it fall at all? I think that we as VR photographers have helped to make our world a true global village.
