VR 101 in Berkeley again! September 15...

Hi everyone!

September 15, 2007 inaugurates the first "VR 101" class to be given at Looking Glass Photo in Berkeley!

Landis Bennett and myself will be taking 6-8 people and showing them the ropes; From choosing a location, to setting up, to shooting, and on to post-production, we'll (hopefully! :-P) be providing a good basis for people to take their own point-and-shoots or DSLRs into the field for some of that crazy panoramic fun...

More info, for anyone interested, can be had from Looking Glass, either their Web site or via telephone (1-510-548-6889)

VR 101: Shooting and producing 360° multi-image panoramas

This is intended to be a collaborative workshop covering the entire process of producing a VR panorama. It will include hands-on training in the "computer lab", and shooting VRs outside, near Looking Glass (locations preferably low contrast. :-)).

Suitable for beginners to intermediates, with mentors contributing their advanced skills and advice. Use your own camera, lens, panorama head, tripod and laptop, or share with another participant.

Available for use by participants:
* Various demo camera bodies and lenses (both Nikon and Canon)
* Nodal Ninja pan heads
* Macintosh Macbooks, loaded with PTGui / PTGui Pro
* Large format Epson printer; each participant can print
one of their panoramas from the day

Cheers!
