Most VR Photographers build their setups around one of two lenses, the Nikkor 10.5mm and the Sigma 8mm f/3.5, although there are others who swear by the Tokina fisheye zoom or the Peleng 8mm

Some have expensive camera bodies with Full-Frame Sensors like the Canon 1Ds Mark III or the Nikon D3, but most do great work with more modest cameras like the Canon XTi or new XSi and the new Nikon D90.

The most popular panoramic head manufacturers are 360Precision and Nodal Ninja, with others like Agnos, Manfrotto and others having fans

Many sturdy tripods work fine
