Thank man! I know its great Ive done a couple of VR on it. But Ive seen some other VR's where you have better link buttons and a North-east-west-south navigator thing.

Thanks for your advice!

OK, know I got with you mean.
Here is my point of view on this:
All are good players.
I have a Pano2VR license because is the best option for delivering Flash 10 files ready to be published to the Internet to my clients.
I also have Flash Panorama Player and KRPano Player licenses because each one has strong points and features not found on the other and I use one or the other depending on the job I am working on.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Thanks so much Carlos. So Flash Panorama Player and KRPano Player are also programs for creating the actual VR like pano2vr? They are not just flash players? Or do they work with VR's created by pano2vr.

Sorry, Im i little confused.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

All three programs take in an image and display that VR image using Flash Player.
The difference is that Pano2VR encloses the image in a single flash file ready to be delivered to a client while FPP and KRP are "external" VR players that display the images using parameters enclosed in a xml file.
Actually Pano2VR can also be used this way but the major strength is at building single flash files with every thing inside compared with the other that need loads of files that reside in a folder to function properly.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Ok thank you for that. I am trying to understand :)

So now i am going to buy pano2vr. Just one question which i cant find the answer to anywhere on their webpage. What is the deference between their "single and company" versions.?

Thanks

Don't forget also the Panosalado Player.
Panosalado is an Open Source Flash Player that is being developed by Patrick Cheatham and for a start is also a good option.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Actually I find this to be very misleading also.
I assume that he means a multi user license for companies with many photographers
But as you can see two single is cheaper than a company.
I do not need a special invoice with the company name to include it in my Company tax account. Maybe other countries have other rules but to pay more than double for that is insane.
I can not see why he could not issue the invoice to a company name for a one man company.

As you can see he also writes
"If you would like to have a multi user license within an organization, pay through wire transfer or you need a special invoice please contact tr-web@gardengnomesoftware.com ."

I also assume that Single user means you can use it on at least 2 computers. LIke Adobe allows you to use it on your stationary and a laptop.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Hi Hans,

No, Hans, it's has nothing to do with the invoices.
Even for a Single user, Thomas will issue you an invoice in the name of the company if needed.
But the Company license means that the licensee is a company and not one person, so a company can buy one for an employee and if he leaves the person replacing it will still be using the software because it was licensed to the company and not to the other person the left the company!
Also, the company license has other feature like removing the Pano2VR propaganda from the generated flash files.
With a Single User License if you go see a Pano2VR generated flash pano and click with the right mouse button something like "This was made with Pano2VR" is shown, I am not sure exactly what it says, but with the Company License you can turn this off.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Well thats not what he says on the License page
http://gardengnomesoftware.com/pano2vr_license.php

It says ; For a single user the license is always issued to the user's name, for a company the license can be issued to the company name.

And there is nothing about it on the FAQ either.

If I sell my company everything in it will sell with it Name or not.
It does not matter if i is just a private personal company or if it is an APS or AS.

I really would not think just getting the name on the invoice is worth the cost for 2 licenses,
And If the non existence (according to the site) no Branding is what you have to pay that for I do not think it is worth that either.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Let me make some things clear: The difference between a single user license an a company license is the amount of users. With a company license up to 5 users can work with the same license key. Of course you will get an invoice for both licenses types. Also the invoice can be issued to the company regardless of the type. You can also install a single user license on more the one machine, as long as there is always the same user.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Thanks Thomas

Thats exactly how I believed it should be but unfortunately the license page does not make that clear.

ANd what about the branding Carlos talk about.

I assume that is a completely different issue which if you can/will do it would need some sort of additional fee.

Re: I got Pano2vr trail, about to make order full version. Befor

Yes I will add this to the FAQ. Thx for the suggestion. Carlos was right, the branding can only be disabled with the "company" license. For Pano2VR 3.x a special license may be a better choice for the unbranded version but currently it is combined with the company license to minimize the number of different license and the different upgrade paths I have to manage and also to make it easier for users.
