Submitted by Aldo Hoeben on Wed, 2009-01-21 16:40.This is most likely due to spam being posted to (and subsequently removed from) the site. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Re: Forum Notifications with no new posts
Submitted by Doug Aurand on Thu, 2009-02-12 00:34.I just got 25 e-mail notifications of new thread postings that there are no new thread postings.
Apparently since I'm no longer a member, I can't go into my profile and turn off the notifications, can some one do it for me?

We were just hit by a tidal wave of spam. Fortunately, the spam filter caught most of it, but quite a bit got through :-(
I'm currently cleaning up after the spam bot, when I'm done I'll look in to your subscriptions, if you have not found your way before I get there...

Re: Forum Notifications with no new posts
Submitted by Aldo Hoeben on Thu, 2009-02-12 10:10.I just checked your subscriptions. You are subscribed to 222 individual 'nodes' (topics, posts) on the site. These are all posts you have participated in. There's an option on http://ivrpa.org/user/me/edit to automatically subscribe you to all the posts you have participated in ('Autosubscribe'), which in your case is turned on.
If you want me to remove all your subscriptions and unselect your Autosubscribe option, let me know. I would not want to edit your account without explicit consent.

I can't find anything that says "Autosubscribe" in the http://ivrpa.org/user/me/edit link.
I can't get into "Member Services" if that's were it is. I get the same "Access Denied" message I got following the link in your first post
Please turn off the Autosubscribe, for me
Thanx

Submitted by Aldo Hoeben on Thu, 2009-02-12 17:17.Thanks for reporting back. I found the misconfiguration that led to this. You should now see both the Autosubscribe box in your account, and have access to the user/me/subscriptions page. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Mea culpa...
I have unsubscribed you, and changed the autosubscribe option for you.
