Find a VR Photographer Google Map - Missing Placeholders

I see the small disclaimer on the bottom of the page with the Google Map telling viewers they might have to zoom in to find a photographer in their area. That's fine but why are there several stacked placeholders off the coast of Africa and none in places where we have several members(example Texas/So Cal/ Colorado)?

Unfortunately it's what the script we currently use has to offer us. To put it bluntly: at this point it is either what we have now, or no map at all. The whole main site is due an update, and I'll see if we can fit in an overhaul of the map.
