I am working on a project that needs krpano devs/programming. Please reach out if interested. You don’t have to be local. Please provide examples of your work. Also, looking for reviews of the Insta360pro by people who usually shoot DSLR w/HDR panos.
August 8, 2018 at 6:54 am #18029Insta360Pro doesn’t really compare to DSLR. The HDR support is rudimentary, and the sensors aren’t very good in low-light. The only real advantage is that you can shoot action panoramas thanks to the 6 lenses – but not in HDR, obviously. If you need a cheap-ish device for shooting 6K stereo 360 video, it’s a viable option. Otherwise probably not interesting. Future firmware updates could in theory improve the HDR performance, but most of Insta’s efforts seem to be focused on newer mass-market devices at this point.

I have visited your website, and I see that a large part of it is dedicated to the three dimensional virtual tours for viewing on VR Gear devices. I know some of the advantages of the system you are using, and that is why I am pleased to inform you that traditional photography can already achieve these results, to which we can add HDR capture, RAW capture, and 27K resolutions.
I know this is not what you’re asking for, but I think it’s interesting for you. Sincerely, Javier. https://vr3d360.org/J.Baranano
