This is why I started using 3rd party software to rather offer my customers a self hosted tour. That way I have control.

I was sick and tired of Google screwing up the presentation. Now I offer to put their tour onto Google but with absolutely zero guarantee as to how it will be presented.

Remember you can have your customer embed a tour on their webpage like this example https://www.koolandchild.com/read/20/our-location.
This way you control the start panorama view.
Alas on their Google page you have no control.

I have been doing Google tours for years. I think that effect is created by Google themselves and not the software you use to upload the tours.

If you are after that effect in particular, I think you will have to create it yourself or use the Garrow plugin as mentioned by Sam.

I created this tour in 2015 using Google’s old online uploader and it also has that effect:

    [googlemaps https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!4v1522348254218!6m8!1m7!1sr0iBbR6vT_gAAAQo8DyRmg!2m2!1d49.31070856525173!2d-124.5029486896574!3f216.80725770187976!4f0.4312769310721336!5f0.7820865974627469&w=600&h=450%5D

I always thought these guys gave a great boardroom btw!

    Sam,

I read your opinions above. I am an ex electrical engineer so all sorts of programming in not daunting to me.

That said, would you recommend KRPano or Pano 2VR?

For now my most important use would be to generate Real Estate tours and commercial business interior tours.

I use Autopano for stitching (not Pro).
I want the ability to customize but am not ready to pay for Panotour Pro. So figured it is KRPano or Pano 2vr

I have worked with Walkinto and have to say they have excellent customer service – friendly and helpful.

I think they must be drones and just never need sleep!
