    Thanx a million
I entend to shoot in narrow areas, and I need details as I want to shoot galleries and shows, so those who can not attend, will have a taste of the thing. 14mm is sharper and if I want to extract a part of the photo for any reason, I dont get the fisheye feeling.
Perfect stitching is a must for clients, and I woul love to make some money out of this, so that why I like it more (the 14mm)

I tried the PTgui, but found it harer to use, so I bought the autopano license.
I will download it again, and give it a try, I dont mind buying it if serving the porpose.
Sorry about the site, but it was first on google search.
I just took a pano for the new cinema theater in Riyadh (first in 4 decades) at riyadhkey.com/amc1
the building was designed by Zaha Hadid, I took it in a hurry as they were not allowing cameras, I hope I can get some advice on enhancing my shhoting

    regards

    Hani

    Thanx
I am using default settings of autopano pro, all old panos weith 16mm were great, but the 14mm is sharper and better, so I did not work on tweaking the settings :(

    Hi
I am trying to get panos using NN6 with RD10 rotator, I tried shooting 4, 6 and 8 images, and non look ok
What am I doing wrong please?
My camera is Nikon D850 with Nikkor 14mm ultra wide lens

    here are the shots
    a and b, same place 8 and 12 shots
c is a narrower place 12 shots, I noticed narrower places have more problems
    https://files.fm/u/pyq69gv7

stitched panos using autopano pro, a and b had an extra shot for sky not included in individual shots
    https://files.fm/u/es8a3vxg

    regards

I deleted the files, I will take some in few minutes, and was wandering, I used to take 6 images with my 16mm fish eye, so 14 should be less, but as it is not fish eye maybe 8 will be ok (with both 90 and 90/2 screwed tight on rd10)
but I get bad stitching using AutpPano pro

    Hi again
Just got NN6, and still playing with it, I am a bit confused with the RD10 rotator, like how to get 6 stops, and is there a calculater for focal length so I can find the best number of stops ( I am using camera in portrait as I dont have the L bracket)
also, has anyone made a table of different lenses and the lock on the scale for best nodal point, rather than trial and error?

    regards

    Hani

    Thanx a million Sam
so the R1 is good and simple to start, should I use the rd16 with it, or thats for other models?
what about software to use?, and can I embed panoramas in my wordpress website?

I heard about MANFROTTO 303SPH QTVR Spherical Panoramic Head, it looks like less hassle than Nodal Ninja, but I am not sure, anyone tried it?

Thanx again and all the best

    Hani
