Yea it sure is a beast, no doubt about it. I have shot over 700 panoramas using it when I worked at NASA & Aerospace companies here in MD/D.C. I loved that bit of kit, it reminded me of shooting with my Mamiya RB & RZ67s, back in the good ol days of film 👀, real pigs but built like tanks.
My friend is going to drive around and shoot Panos in some pretty nasty places (deserted strip mines) for a 501c environmental group. The QPP can really take a beating so it’s perfect for this. I’m going to help him get it all setup for his 5d3 and train him, then turn him loose for a week of practice. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this, it is very much appreciated.
