Stars bigger than Texas

Stars bigger than Texas

This past weekend I was at the Livermore Ranch, west, and adjacent to Mt. Livermore, the second highest mountain in Texas at ~8300 ft. Very isolated and far removed from any light pollution. This is the second night of the Perseid Meteor shower, but it seems I did not capture any in this location. Canon 5D Mark II, 30 sec. exposure of the 15mm FFF at f/2.8, ISO 4000. I am in the courtyard of the lodge with the mountains framing my location. 30°36'7.79"N, 104°12'19.06"W
