The IVRPA launches its new corporate identity and a public beta of its new site.
Soon after the former IQTVRA changed its name to the IVRPA, the International VR Photography Association, a drive for a new identity was initiated. A logo design competition among the IVRPA membership lead to a number of usefull designs which were finally tweaked and combined into the new identity by member Hans Inge Haagen. It is with great pride that we now present our new corporate identity to the world.
To showcase our focus on the broadening international VR community, we are also announcing the launch of a public beta of the new IVRPA site. The new site aims to showcase the active IVRPA membership, while at the same time stimulating discussion with the VR community and the internet public at large. IVRPA members can have a personal gallery as well as a keeping a journal on the new site, and benefit from the site's findability and referrals. Interested members of the VR community can sign up for a free account and join in discussions on the public forum, and members of the public can enjoy magnificent sights and scenes from the collected galleries of stills and interactive VRs.
In true 'web2.0' fashion, the site is entering its public phase as a beta product. The site is meant to be a living, breathing reflection of our membership and support of the international VR community, and as such it will never be 'done'. Please explore what the site has to offer, participate in discussions and/or post content to your gallery or journal. And feel free to leave your feedback in the forums, or use the contact form to send your suggestions to the web team.
