Aura,

Don't worry, we should release more details soon on the Iceland2013.org website.

I am doing my best to open the event website as soon as possible, but my own work has delayed it a bit.

Should be open in a matter of days from now...

Re: Iceland 2013 - The International Panoramic Photography ...

Sorry to correct. Thanks to my inspirational idea and the work and help of mainly German and some other members, IVRPA is present on Photokina in Cologne since 2004 (not 2006!) with an exhibiion. And a small and since last 2 years bigger conference day. I had this idea to not only present our 360 VR images virtually but show them as a 360 flat image as well. That rocked the public! We had a lot of visitors from day one. After the first exhibition, we have had Durst as a sponsor to print our exhibtion. They did the printing for free. As result of lower budgets we had to pay for the printing last year as well for a part of the booth. But being present at the worlds's biggest fair and exhibtion site for 6 days is an advantage and privilage unsurpassed. Can you imagine to show your work to an international public?

As a result from the Photokina exhibtion I organised 3 exhibitions in the Panorama Mesdag Museum in The Hague as well! In 2006, 2008 and in 2013 our Photokina panoramas were exhibited in this Museum with great response. And in the Art Kite Museum in Lage, Germany we had an exhibition as well, organised by Markus Krueger, great man and the only one to organise another Museum exhibition afterwards.

I am glad to have my idea realised to show 360 panorama's printed and on screens and hope that future directors of IVRPA have the same spirit, inspiration and most important drive and see the importance of this international Fair and exhibition venue and will be organizing Photokina exhibtions as before.
