Ricoh THETA: Visual Revolution
Originally launched in 2013, the Ricoh Theta is a handheld 360-degree camera that captures the entire space in front of its two wide-angle lenses with just a single shot. With the introduction of the Theta, it is Ricoh goal to bring 360-degree imagery closer to a wide audience, which is reflected in the elegant, slim design and simple control of the product. The compatible Android and iOS application is used for viewing, editing, and sharing of spherical images and video footage and with this, Ricoh wants to build an entire ecosystem around 360 degrees imagery. Photographers can easily access various functions, including the remote shutter, ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation settings. Ricoh is keen to share it's vision for 360-degree cameras.
