Tips & Tricks: Low Tech Tripod Stabilizer

I wanted to suggest an ongoing theme for posting in the Members Only forum of Tips, Tricks & Techniques that we each have kearned of figured out to improve our work.

When I arrive at the home page I notice there are 3-5 members and 15-20 visitors. I'm guessing the visitors are looking to find out more about virtual imaging but haven't found a reason to join.

Lets give them a reason by posting some of the methods we use to get better results; just listing the Tip or Trick in our own Blogs that the general public can read and explaining it in the Members Only forum.

I've read that some members have had the same problem I've had with my tripod moving as I rotate the camera. Especially in homes with thick carpet pads. Some one mentioned their camera moving in the slightest breeze
