A virtual tour of a small room with a big table in the middle

Hi...
Roberto here again...

I would like some advice in case I need to do a virtual tour of a small room with a big table in the middle (for example a conference room)... should I jump on the table with my tripod ? what's your experience ?
Another thing... if the room it's not a square or a rectangle but a "L" shape where is the best position to put my tripod (is it better to do 2 virtual tours or just 1 in the junction of the L).

My equipment : Nikon Coolpix 8700 + fc-e9

Thanks again guys...any advice could be really appreciated...

Re: A virtual tour of a small room with a big table in the middl

If you can place some items like flowers, drinks, notepads etc. onto the table, it might be a good idea to put the camera on the table. If not, that might give a relative dead picture. I would then try to make a partial panorama from one wall with a 180° pan range (not from a corner, the pan range would be only small and the difference to a normal image would not be significant). Items on the table would in any case make this image more interesting as well.

Yours,
Michael
