My name is Bruce L Oliver and I am a professional photographer. I am the owner of See Around Photos "." com ( www.SeeAroundPhotos.com ), a site dedicated to my VR and still Photography. I live in Enfield, CT where I was born. I have expanded my photography business to specialize in 360 degree panorama virtual tour photography and virtual object online content.
I have studied and worked with Internet Franchise Development, Website Design and Windows Programming. I have been employeed by Microsoft Corporation's New England Field Office, worked as a Visiting Professor in MIS at the University of Hartford's Barney School and have been self employeed since 1994.
My studies began over thirty-five years ago taking black and white photos and developing them while in the Boy Scouts. My mentors included a photographer who took photographs of President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt while he was in the United States Navy; the chief staff photographer for Connecticut's Hartford Courant Newspaper and the owner of a photography supply store also helped hone my skills.
For over twenty-five years I have taken thousands of photos as I traveled to over thirty-eight countries on four continents. I am published in at least three magazines including numerous issues of: "Connecticut Home & Garden", "Connecticut Magazine" and "Home by Design".
My virtural tours have been published on REALTOR.com for real estate agents in the North East for a couple of years now. During that time I have worked with agents, building contractors, stores, adult living communities and long term care centers, apartment managers, to name a few.
I am a member of IVRPA (International Virtual Reality Photographers Association), which is an International Association of Professionals who creates and produces interactive, immersive images, virtual tours 360 panoramas, and object virtual reality. I am registed as a travel photo journalist with the National Press Association and the I
