The site has gone public for members!
With this message, Mike Quan opened the site to the membership:
I am pleased to announce that a beta edition of the IVRPA website is now available.
The new site incorporates a content management system, and is much easier to
use. Each IVRPA can post text (blog), add a banner image, submit images to a gallery,
create links to a personal web site, and much more.We are so excited about this new site, and we await your feedback on our new website.
Try it out, post your stuff, and let us know what you think. With everyone's input
this site will be amazing!
We'll have to do a more formal 'press release' when we go public-public, but WOHOOO!.
It's great seeing people come in and post stuff. Sigursteinn, I never heard of you before, but I love the Grimsvotn panorama. You really took that 'give us your best shots' line seriously, did you? Cool stuff, literally.
The member gallery is already getting lots more interesting. Not just because of new content being posted, but also the Google Map and tag clouds that are starting to show some more diverse info.
