Yes, it is a difficult location to get to but well known in the canyon. You have to raft down the Colorado river and then there's a 1 mile somewhat steep trail that leads up to the location where the panorama was shot.

To my knowledge the only way to get there is to raft down to it, but there might be a trail from the North Rim that gives you access somehow. It would have to be a very long hike though.
