How to batch Alpha Mask many photos in Photoshop CS3???

I have a bunch of jpeg photos (150+) shot with the 360Precision Adjuste and a 10.5mm. I need to mask out the pano head arm as it causes shadows after PTGUI stitching.

I find converting to tiff and using an alpha mask completely removes this "shadow" effect.

Problem is... it gets tedious real quick manually dragging the alpha channel to the next photo, saving as tiff, etc...

I can't figure out how to automate the process. Anyone know how to do this?

Perhaps there is another way?

Have you tried actions in Photoshop? That's what they are for; batching repetitive tasks.
