FC-E8 adapter for D70?
Submitted by Clayman on Wed, 2008-06-11 03:48.
I just picked up an FC-E8 fisheye adapter at a reasonable price on my local Kijiji. Interesting how the prices on Ebay have been steadily rising over the last half year. The power of IVRPA?
I have an ancient Nikon 990, but I also want to mount it to my D70. I am using the standard lens that came with the camera.
Any advice on adapters? Has anyone done this successfully? There are forum threads on mounting the FC-E9 to a D80, is it the same adapter?
Please and thank you....

At the bottom of the thread is the fc-e8 on a canon 5d. A full frame camera but it looks like it would benefit from a smaller frame like yours to get less black surround.
Of course you would have to guess the shutter speed. Still looks like it would be possible with the right combination. I remember seeing panos shot with one of the raynox screw on fisheye lens on a pentax dlsr.
