Opinion on Camera/Lens Combo
Hello. I have been working with creating panos and real estate virtual tours for a little while now. I also have done some landscape and scenic panos. I have been using my old Olympus E10 with both the normal and wide angle adapter, which works just fine for the indoor and "for internet only" resolutions. It's also fine with taking the 12 photos in a row for a cylindrical, no rush and no moving subjects. I'd like to move up to doing sphericals, and doing more shots where there is the possibility of moving subjects. The increased resolution for print would be nice of course too. I've been partial to Olympus for years now, and have been thinking about the Olympus E3 for a camera. They seem to have some nice Zuiko lenses mated to it. I was thinking about adding the 8mm Zuiko Digital fisheye lens to the bag. Does anyone think this combination will allow me to not only shoot high quality panos, but will it also allow me to shoot a minimum number of photos to stitch? The quicker I can shoot the photos (2?, 4?), the less chance for movement and ghosting. Thanks!
