Notifying of posts

Hi there, just another idea.

Is there any way of the system sending out auto emails to say somebody has either comented on an gallery image/movie or replied to a post in the forums.

At this time, there is no email notification. There are lots of RSS feeds though, eg for the frontpage: http://beta.ivrpa.org/rss.xml

There's also the new posts page. There's also a personalised new posts page for every user; just append your user number to the tracker url, eg: beta.ivrpa.org/tracker/1206 for my posts.

We're looking at good integration between the site and a mailing list manager.

Subscriptions/notifications

Subscriptions/notifications were added a while back, I posted about that here, but forgot about this thread.

The 'subscribe post' link can be found directly below each opening post (above the comments). For blog posts, there's also a link to subscribe to the blog. Unfortunately, there's no subscription link for each forum, but you can use the 'my subscriptions' page in your profile to subscribe to a forum. I'll see about fixing that.
