Sand Castle Contest

I was invited to photograph the Clam Harbour Beach Annual Sand Castle Contest(Nova Scotia, Canada). In years past it has attracted up to 20,000 visiors to this usually quiet provincial park and beach. This year may be the last because of the tremendous amount of volunteers needed and the lack of support from the government. It would be a shame. Clams Harbour Beach is one of Nova Scotia's hidden treasures. A three kilometer fine sand beach that has tons of hiking trails and a great picnic area on top of a bluff.
