Ridges and Road in Santa Fe County, New Mexico
As soon as I saw this view I knew I had to shoot it as a panorama. Please forgive me that I can't describe the various features, how they were created, or what folks call them. The Sangre de Christo Mountain Range is straight down the road, or at least much of what Santa Feans call the Sangres can be viewed from this particular stretch. Let me take this moment to say, "Hi" back to all the folks who waved to me as they went by while I photographed.
Cropped to trim the edges; at 300 ppi, it weighs in at over 1.4 GB and over 5.5 feet by nearly 12 inches (1.6 meters by 0.3 meter). I considered rotating this 90 degrees clockwise to "work around" the small issue of panorama height-to-width ratio in tandem with the 1024 pixel width consideration. Anyway, I'll post a bigger version on my web site at some point.
More View Panoramas at my web site.
Enjoy!
