This is an image from the famous Rossio Square in Lisbon.

Aldo, you are right, I just uploaded a less shaved version.
This is not mosaic, is the famous "Calçada à Portuguesa" (small cube shaped stones black or white placed one by one by handy man) that can be seen here in Lisbon, all over Portugal and in the countries once colonized by the Portuguese like Brazil (notable also is the "calçadão" in Rio de Janeiro).

I like the waviness of the mosaic, but the image would look better with a little more breathing space IMHO.
