Great Movie Mate

Very good

I wish this site didn't distort the movies!!!

I love people who use this medium for fun and education, much better than just a nice sunset panorama or a mobile phone object, which i have just done about 10 of.

SOOOOO BLOOODYYYY BORINGGGGG, photographing mobile phones all day and have another 17 to go :'(

One bit of advice though, try and over expose the back ground ever so slightly so you don't see the shadows and shades of cream on the back.

I did the same with this movie, and i quite like the appearance. Had medium lighting on the front of the object, and large lighting on the back ground, i think if i remember on this one i used 2 huge sheets of card and positioned them with a few inches gap between them with a lamp behind it all. This allows the outer card to be a diffuser for the inner card giving a more diffused white appearance whilst allowing the back ground to be bleached hiding the shadows and paper colour.

Great movie though, wish there was more objects on here.

Thanks

Hey Ian,

Thanks for your comment on my object movie. This was me second one. Made a scene of it with two nodes.
First one hitting the button. Than when the button flashes you can click on it -> the chicken looks up.
when you move the mouse down a large rock comes down.
But because of the 2Mb max files size the quality is not very good and i just did one node.

About the lights, your are right. Still want to remove the background but 17 row of 36 pictures is much work ;-)

I will put another object movie soon with no background. It will be a product obeject movie.

Kind Regards

Hi Govard-Jan de Jong I wish

Hi Govard-Jan de Jong

I wish this dam forum would notify of replies like most other forums do!!!! I only noticed by accident you replied to me there.

I have the same problem for removing the backgrounds lack of time (and really not wanting to do it).

I have now a freelancer in India who loves doing it, and he charges very little. Last time he cut out 3 sets of 36 images and charged me $30.

The images were all very Red, as i took them in my front room with red walls, they were taken on my turntable but with no back drop etc, as i knew it was all to be cut out

You can see here the VR tours of the images he cut out
http://www.trimbridge.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=19&I...

I gave him the images one night on a zip file that i uploaded to my server for him to download, and he had them done the next morning our time, amazing. I paid him more than the $30 he asked for, as i felt guilty as hell paying him so little.

If you would like to have them done, please drop me a message through the website below and ill put you in touch with him.

Kindest regards
Ian

Re: Chick Chicken 01

Nice piece of humour and, as mentioned, makes a change from the norm.
