GPS2Aperture finally comes out of beta testing

GPS2Aperture Lite version 1.0.15 is now available, and isn't a beta! There's been a few tweaks and several bugfixes.

Work will now continue on the 'pro' version which will do geotagging from GPS log files. If you'd be interested in beta testing the pro version, please drop me an email.

GPS2Aperture - please update to newest beta!

It turns out that beta 1 saved the information in a way that wasn't very secure - updating the database by itself doesn't survive rebuilding the database, restoring from a Vault or exporting as a Project.... please update to beta 3 as soon as possible!
You should also go back to images that you edited with beta 1 and update them again using beta 3. :(

In addition to storing the information in the XML files as well as in the database, beta 3 includes a few new functions:

Aperture, Google Earth and GPS

Following on from the little AppleScript I wrote that takes GPS info from Aperture and feeds it to either Google Earth or Google Maps, I've written a helper utility that that will go both ways.

GPS2Aperture is a floating system window which can grab GPS data from either Aperture or Google Earth, let the user edit it and then send the data to either Aperture or Google Earth.
