Easypano Tour Hosting site (www.tour-hosting.com) now accepts virtual tours created with Tourweaver. If you have any Flash virtual tours created with Tourweaver 3.00 and later versions, you can now upload them directly to Tour Hosting site.
Till April 30th, Tourweaver users can login user panel and enjoy all the services for free, include creating virtual tour online and hosting virtual tours of Tourweaver.

Google and Street View

I think people here could be interested. One of the proposals that have been made is to build a kind of 'Open Street View', to defend us from the voracity of Google. Anyone interested in building that open alternative to Street View?

Submitted by GDonaldBain on Fri, 2010-02-12 06:07.Any of you action-pano specialists up for a challenge? They are predicting 40 foot (12 meter) waves at the Mavericks surfing competition this Saturday here in northern California.
Has a pano ever been shot on a really big wave? I would love to see one. So many of the photographs are taken from shore with very long lenses. Impressive, but not the "you are there" experience.
Shooting from the wave face itself would be like the panos we have seen of rock climbers and hang gliders. But faster, more dangerous, and wetter.

IPIX files: how to convert?

Do you know how to do this?
If you own IPIX Studio I will gladly pay you to convert these files to a more modern format.
Please advise.
