* I’m aware of the ghosting but since it wasn’t really my focus I didn’t worry too much about it.

I am introducing me...

My name is Christophe Bouthé, I live in France where I work as panoramic photographer as you can imagine.

The men who gave me the passion of VR in 2004 by their work are Gilles Vidal, Denis Gliksman, Mickael Therer... Thanks to them !
Mister Ayrton sent me a message who was telling : "hey my friend, come to IVRPA" (Shame on me i didn't do it earlier) !

So now i am glad to be here and i imagine that i have a lot to read on this forum.

Receive my friendships !

Regards,

Christophe

Sunex 185° Superfisheye 5.6mm F/5.6

As a virtual tour photographer who got started with iPIX and their two hemisphere (fisheye) capture, I've always preferred capture methods with as few shot/positions as practical.

I've long retired by Nikon Coolpix 5400, Nikon FC-E9 Fisheye Converter and iPIX Rotator, but still appreciate the simplicity of the setup

Today I use a Canon XTi that has a 10 megapixel cropped sensor for both still photos and virtual images.

Fish eye lens

Hi guys!

Just soliciting ideas and comments which lens between nikkor 10.5mm and the new samyang ae 8mm is best buy and has better output? I've used nikkor 10.5mm already on my first virtual tour project and i find it great already. Although my concern every time I stitch it through panoweaver, there is always an orphaned image most likely either the 7th or 8th frame. But then, I still manage to stitch it by doing it manually.
