Panosalado Sound Experiment
Submitted by Clay on Sun, 2010-01-10 16:39.Here's my first humble experiment with Panosalado and Spin Control that includes sound.
This is an old panorama From 2007(I've gotten better, so be gentle).I decided to add sound to it from a recording I did in 2009 with my little MinoHD video cam. I'll try to shoot these lovely folks again next year at the annual Balls Falls Fall Festival in Ontario, Canada.

Conference09 and... CuTy
Submitted by Aldo Hoeben on Fri, 2009-10-09 10:28.It's been a bit silent, but that does not mean nothing has been going on ;-)
Yesterday, Matthias announced the website for panoramas and still images shot at the IAPP/IVRPA Alburquerque Balloon Fiesta. In the next few days, that site should be filling up with some nice panoramas shot by the IVRPA members attending the fiesta. It looks like a great event for VR panoramas.
Personal website
Submitted by Christopher Glick on Mon, 2008-07-07 11:31.I just wanted to mention that I have been putting up various full-screen panoramas I have taken at my current personal website, which will be valid for about 5 years (paid in advance): http://chrisglick.us

PanoSalado, the open-source Panorama Viewer (Flash + PV3D)
Submitted by cheathamlane on Sun, 2008-06-22 03:31.Hi there:
Just a quick note to say that our open source pano viewer from flashpanos.com has gotten its own blog -- this will make it much easier to update and keep folks updated about.
It's still living at flashpanos.com, just with its own niche in the site.
Lots of changes afoot in the viewer recently, and astute readers will notice an increasing dependence on XML. We're trying to keep it friendly to both Flex and Flash developers, and to the novice coder and experienced alike. In any case, enjoy!

Info for folks using Flash to deliver panoramas; also, new blog (aka "photo dump")
Submitted by cheathamlane on Tue, 2008-06-03 01:23.Hey there:
In an effort to localize information regarding the current crop of Flash based panorama players, and since some of the developers don't have forums (or ones that exist are clunky, spammy or broken), I have widened the focus over at flashpanos.com.

Fine art Flash Web site
Submitted by cheathamlane on Tue, 2008-02-05 04:50.Thought I'd share this one with everyone -- there are some final Ts to cross and Is to dot, but the site is live. :) This is my first full-on foray into writing code solely in AS3, for those who care about such things.
This site for Hung Liu, San Francisco Bay Area based fine artist, was just about the first job of mine in 2007 that wasn't based around panoramas. Or so I thought...

More recent work in the almost live category...
Submitted by cheathamlane on Fri, 2007-12-21 04:34.I recently photographed some 360° Product Rotations (Object VR) for Bone Clones, Inc. Well, OK, the photography was done about a year ago, and the project has moved and morphed and has a life of its own. :-) Some of you may have seen an in-progress preview of the project at the IVRPA Conference in Berkeley -- it has changed since then.
The Bone Clones Rotational Series is almost live; you can view screenshots & a video demo of the project at the Bone Clones Web site.

Plugins for Flash Panorama Player now available at FlashPanos
Submitted by cheathamlane on Sat, 2007-12-01 19:31.I've created a central repository for plugins, tutorials & other knowledge about Flash Panorama Player, since the forum-style structure of the user contributed knowledge at FPP's forum is a little sketchy when you're looking for something in particular, and not really an efficient way to offer updates and support for plugins you've made.
Read more about it at http://flashpanos.com . Enjoy!
