Chris Witzani

As a freelance photography engineer, Chris Witzani is an enthusiastic panoramic photographer and multimedia developer. First attempts of shooting panoramic images with his Horizont camera during a trip around the world in 1992/93 sparked his interest in this format. In conjunction with multimedia applications, Chris began experimenting with QuickTime VR technology and starting receiving orders for client projects in the mid-nineteen-nineties. In spring of 2005, his agency, schnurstracks, organized the "rundum Panorama" exhibition. There, the team showcased panoramic photographs and the first swivelling panoramic table lamp. Chris organized the international "Windows of the World" panorama photography competition 2005. The best panoramic photographs have been published in a fine-art panoramic photography book. In 2007 Chris took part in Germany's major design event, the Cologne PASSAGEN 2007, with panoramic photographs from Cologne and the panorama lamps.
