Jim Watters is a panoramic photographer, software developer, and thing maker, that is now pursuing an endeavour to create 360° stereoscopic 3D interactive panoramic movies for viewing in head mounted displays. He has combined a Diploma of Fine Craft in Photography with a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology to be an imaging software engineer specializing in creating and viewing interactive spherical panoramic photographs and video.
Jim started creating 360° spherical panorama videos rigs in 2006. In late 2013 he started to capture stereoscopic 3D 360° video for viewing on HMD. Shooting and producing 360° video is hard and doing it in stereoscopic 3D is many times harder. But more rewarding when done right.
