After a nearly 2-year pause on in-person events due to the global pandemic, the IVRPA looks optimistically at 2022. We are excited to announce that our next international conference will be in Moab, Utah, from May 17th-19th, 2022, at the Moab Arts & Recreation Center. However, due to the persisting challenges of planning events and our commitment to following changing local health and safety guidelines, the conference will be limited to 85 attendees.
We hope that by scaling the conference to a manageable size, we can offer our members the best mix of world-class programming and exciting excursions. Moab is known for its stunning natural beauty — red rock formations, dinosaur tracks, and some of the most photographed scenic vistas in the world.
We’re planning many exciting opportunities for excursions and hands-on workshops out in some of the most beautiful panoramic scenery America has to offer, with help from partners like Western River Expeditions and the Moab Adventure Center. In addition, Arches & Canyonlands National Parks are just minutes away.
Anyone wanting to volunteer for the committee is welcome to join in the planning and programming of the conference. Please submit your name to Loren Price at <loren@ivrpa.org>.

Count me in for Moab.
JLDecember 27, 2021 at 4:44 pm #27469The Moab Conference dates have been changed from May 17-19th, to Wednesday – Friday, June 1-3rd for better viewing the Milky Way earlier. New moons are better for viewing the Milky Way as full moons overpower it. And, the Milky Way will be visible earlier in June than May. These dates are the week after Memorial Day.
More information will be coming from the committee about draft the program.

IVRPA Director - Vice PresidentJanuary 24, 2022 at 11:25 pm #27597I have looked and looked and could not find a link with details on location and or schedule of invents. I know it is in Moab, I am looking for details of conference center or hotel that will host the invent.
Thank you in advance and if I missed it sorry.
