    Hello everyone!

Thank you very much in advance for helping me.

I’ve got a Canon 5D and I’d like to purchase a lenses and a panoramic head to capture full 360 panoramas taking only 4 photographs. I don’t care very much about the nadir, but I really need to shoot only 4 images in total.

Which focal length should I use?

Can anyone recommend a good panoramic head?

samyang 8mm or canon 8-15mm are both good choices for fisheye lens that will capture an entire sphere with 4 images on full frame camera

Samyang 8mm f/3.5 HD Fisheye Lens with Removable Hood for Canon (about $250)

Canon EF 8-15mm f/4.0L USM Wide Fisheye Zoom Lens (about $1300)

Nodal Ninja R1 panohead kit with appropriate lens ring is my choice to use with this sort of lens, i use same head with nikon full frame body and 10.5mm fisheye

    R1 w/RD5 Adj.Tilt Pkg (F6120V)

also see this series of tutorials by florian knorn for more info on shooting and stitching with this sort of fisheye

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions,

At the end I went for the Sigma 8mm F3.5 Canon with the Nodal Ninja UR20

That’s exactly what I use Rafael. I take 6 shots though to reduce the nadir and use PTGui for the stitching.
