Archive Forum Login ?

Hello everyone, I’m new on IVRPA . I’m sorry for my english. I have a problem I joined , the new site and forums all is well , but when I want to view the history of the forum at this link http://archive.ivrpa.org/user/login?destination=forum
informs me that the login is incorrect . I specify that I changed the password automatically , I tried my name, I tried the user name but I can not read the old forum which I consider useful for its content . Informs me that the data entered is incorrect . Thank you all

login info for the new ivrpa.org site will NOT work on archive.ivrpa.org, unfortunately there is no easy way for us to sync the new sites current members and logins with the archive site

to access the private areas of the archive site you would need to use your old login credentials for that site (assuming you were a member of that site)

there is still plenty of info in the archive public areas, and we are still looking at ways to import old content over to this new site…

thanks, Excuse me, but maybe I did not understand, I am writing from 10 days, so I can not get the login on the old forum? Sorry if I misunderstood

correct, the IVRPA archive website is a read only archive, no new accounts are created on that site after march 2015, and existing accounts on that site are not updated or changed

the only way to login to the archive website is if you had an existing account on that site before it was closed down, there is NO login connection between this new site and old archive site, and the archive site is no longer maintained or updated

please let us know if there is anything specific from the archive site you are searching for and cannot access, we are manually importing some old content, if we have any high level drupal wizards in the audience who can help bulk export and reformat content from that old drupal 5 site to this new wordpress site, drupal forums to bbpress etc, please let us know

to be honest, i personally felt that members only content was somewhat lacking on the old site, no conference video archive (until i built it myself last year), some discussions in the directors and members forums about history and such was about it for “interesting” members only content, we are already doing much better on this new site after only 3 months :)

i would love to have all the old content bulk imported over here, but i spend enough time on wordpress as it is and do not have the time to sort out the drupal end of things, so anyone who would like to help out should reply to this topic –
