    Hi there,

I created 360° videos for my clients and recently got requests to launch these videos in dedicated VR apps across headsets like Gear VR, DayDream and Cardboards. Unity seems to be the best option since I can build and export apps on all these headsets.

However, all Unity 360° Video / VR Player frameworks I found require me to build the video player by myself. Is there out-of-the-box 360° video player for Unity that works across all VR platform and headsets? I’d need playback UI and some of my videos are stereoscopic. Host & streaming solutions would be great, since I have a lot of 360° videos.

Any recommendation for Unity 360° video player?

Check out OmniVirt’s Unity 360° video player, the VR player that comes with full VR support.

You can find the package and an example code here. Here is a tutorial for Unity 360° video integration.

This works for all formats that you mentioned (360° video / Stereoscopic VR content / 360° photo). Works perfectly if you have multiple videos and have the viewer streams the video that they want to watch.
