    Hi all,

I thought I’d pass this information to anyone interested in participating a user research around 360 content & equipment in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Ixonos is looking into having 10 early adopters of VR for 1,5 hour f2f user interviews/each:

    • Age 18+
    • Early adopters of virtual reality viewing and camera technology having BOTH experience with using a VR display device (ex Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift) AND possess and have experience of using a camera device for capturing immersive still image and video content that is intended for viewing with a VR display device ( or example , a GoPro camera rig , DSLR panorama shooting equipment, or a dedicated 360 camera like Ricoh Theta)

All the qualified participants will get a $250 reward for their time upon completing the f2f interview. The topics of the interview will be around current VR practices, and also future needs:

    • Current photography and videography practices (including both conventional and VR camera use)
    • Current practices of virtual reality content capture
    • Examples with own devices.
    • Potential applications of captured virtual reality content
    • Thoughts & challenges on current VR capture devices and services
    • Etc.

Our schedule for the user interviews is pretty flexible; between now and 15th March, based on individual preferences. The location will be Ixonos office in downtown San Francisco (or if necessary also Palo Alto downtown is possible).

Please complete this survey for pre-qualification: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VRstudy

There will be also a small pre-task required before the interview for the qualified.

    Thank you!
