This is great info, I’m basically at the same level as Arnold. I have reviewed much of the information provided in this thread but I would like to ask a similar question in a slightly different manner.
What I am hoping to do is find a software solution that I can use to create Virtual Tours for those that still use a DSLR and a pano head (in my case a Nodal Ninja). Ideally I’m looking for a solution that could do all of the following:
1) A single tool that could create stitched images and then use those images to create a virtual tour without having to export and import into a different piece of software.
2) Allow for batch stitching of raw format images (nef or dng)
3) Allow export flexibility of panoramas or tours to Google Streetview and other popular map tools
I realize that I’m asking for a lot here, but I’m trying to see if there’s a simpler process for DSLR shooters that doesn’t require two or more different tools. Thanks!
