At the time the statement was written Michael had told me she couldn’t 100% confirm that she will apply for another term. This would be a question for the treasurer, and I wonder why you post that here under my candidate statement.
However, to make things easier for you I had a look at the numbers and here is what I found:
For 2017 we have a “Net Operating Income” of about US$ -22k. While we still have Total Assets of about US$ 106k remaining on our bank accounts.As we are a non profit association and our objective is not to make and/or accumulate money, these US$ 22k certainly cannot be called a loss. The opposite is the case. They were invested to foster the goals of our operations in the best sense of our bylaws.
Let me give you an example: From the 2017 budget we spent about 8k on video equipment to provide professional quality live video and streams to the audience and live followers at the conferences and to record the conference sessions and talks in a an appropriate way. Through savings on rental costs for the Vienna and Tokyo conferences this equipment already has paid for itself.
From the 2017 budget we also made a payment of US$ 12k to a former IVRPA director, who so far is the only director who ever has received a compensation for the time he spent to organize two of our conferences in 2015 and in 2016. His name is Luc Villeneuve.
If you add just these two numbers you already have an explanation of where we invested US$ 20k of the US$ 22k in 2017. Should you wish to also learn about the remaining US$ 2k please let us know, our treasurer will be happy to lay that out in all detail.

I have both but I’m your case recommend 7 Artisans. Just make sure you get a copy where the sunshade is t glued. There are versions where it just can be unscrewed.That’s some good news, because otherwise the number of customers who I could use that for will be exceptionally limited. Looking forward to it and hope to meanwhile find the time for a test run.

Now the killer question: Can the tours be hosted on ones own servers or are they like Matterport bound to your servers?Of course there is.
Panoramic photography has been a serious business years before Google even knew what that is.
So no surprise there are different options to build your own tours. For a school and anyone else who wants to keep control over their images it is highly recommended to use their own servers or hosting platform, which most likely they already have.
To build tours, please have a look at Pano2VR from Gardengnomesoftware and Panotour Pro from Kolor, or if you feel comfortable at xml scripting look at krpano.com.Currently we are evaluating several options, but nothing is secured yet.
So what does that really mean?
Doing tours with photogrammetry? Doing tours with CAD data?
I know at least of one dedicated systems for that, but the price range goes towards 6 figures and it is an advantage if one has experience in the field of documenting large (really large) facilities and/or facility management.As a freelancer your income depends a LOT on your skills and engagement in marketing.
Besides that local markets are also varying a lot.
As a newcomer I’d say you’d better first evaluate what’s possible in your vicinity and start to collect a portfolio and references, otherwise it will be tough because 360 photography has significantly advanced in recent years.The name change is a reaction to the changed subject our members and sponsors are dealing with. The new word embraces all aspects and doesn’t require to change the visual appearance of the logo.
When the idea was proposed in the members meeting in Tokyo it was answered with great applause.I’ve successfully been using Goodreader for years.
Depending on your sources there also is a standalone viewer app from Kolor.The connectivity has nothing to do with the way you capture/create your assets.
I’d rather talk to the software developer and discuss with him the budget needed for either method and the interactivity you need and then look at the budget needed to produce these assets.
Too many factors we don’t know will influence asset creation and overall budget.
As Sam suggested you need a robust authoring tool. Which to chose depends on your customers goals, your budget and your skills.

That’s not a kind of panorama where focus stacking makes sense at all and particularly not at 16mm.
The gain in resolution over full frame Fisheye is marginal and not worth the effort as the image shows.If you really want to try it, start at 35mm.
Unfortunately I can’t tell what’s causing the problem in Autopano as I’m not an avid user of it. I use PTGUI since more than ten years for all my work and it never failed. Your images stitched with an average error below 1px.
I agree that the 14mm is more versatile, but if you really need good images I’d not use such an extreme wide angle. Rather use something like 16-35 or 24-70 and for the panoramas a dedicated fisheye for 4 shots around. When you shoot in tight places the 14mm also might cause headaches with DOF.
With the 14mm you will need at least 8-10 images to cover the sphere. Which also means more time shooting and processing.
The stitch of the cinema looks good, I saw minor issues due to a blurred frame at the top.

First of all, the website of your sharing service is rated malicious by several browsers and Malwarebytes. This might keep people from proceeding any further. However, I took the risk and got the images. YOLO.All three sets stitch perfectly fine in PTGUI. I just droped them and let PTGUI stitch, not manual tweaking needed. I don’t use Autopano. So what is the problem with your stitch?
Maybe Autopano get’s confused because the images do have a lot of overlap. Too much overlap probably.
Also you should make yourself familiar with the concept of using manual settings for shooting panoramas.Sidenote: I doubt that the final result will make a big difference whether you use the 16mm or the 14mm.
The 16mm has proven to deliver suberb results on the latest Nikon cameras.To understand what could be the issue you’d better provide a sample. If the error is not immediately visible please also describe what you think is not ok.

Doing aerials from manned aircraft is a serious business.
If you need to mount something outside of a helicopter it needs to be done by a certified company.Handholding something outside of a flying aircraft with a weight of more than 1kg is not advised and also needs secure fastening. Do a dry run in your apartment and you will understand.
The distortion you notice is due to the field of view which is very large when zoomed out and rather samll when zoomed in. The effect is the same as with wide angle lenses and normal and telephoto lenses. There is nothing one can do about it unless one would find a way to change the laws of physics.

Thank you very much.Well, the limitation that makes us dream about rigs is physics rather than money.
Everyone would love to have a one-shot-rig that allows high resolution panos without stitching errors, which currently is not possible to build.And once you start looking at stereo panos, the issue go through the roof.
So for current rigs there is little left to wish for.
While there might be rigs one can dream of, There is no such thing like an ideal rig.
One always has to configure a setup that best matches the current purpose.For panoramic photography a 4 camera rig will not make you happy unless you do aerial photography where the nodal offset doesn’t weigh in too much. For everything else it’s more like a pia.
If you need to speed things up, a motorized head might come into consideration.
I you need to shoot HDR spheres for IBL the Sony might not be ideal as at a maximum it allows 5 brackets 3 EV apart. I haven’t tested yet if that is sufficient to cover the entire range. That said I don’t know which are he maximum steps that the Nikon 8xxs do allow.
The mentioned combo above currently is one of the best money can buy.
The only alternative would be a Nikon 8xx series camera if you haven’t yet invested in Canon glas.As for the adapter, yes, I use the Metabones IV.
Works nicely with the fisheye and TS lenses.The A7RII besides currently without doubt is one of the best bodies one can use for panoramic work.
I’m using it myself mostly with the Canon 8-15 as this gives one all the options to shoot just 4 around or 6+1 with a very sharp lens that delivers to the 42 mpx sensor what it deserves.Depending on your budget and further needs there are other options available.

You would have to specify your goals and the expectations of your client to get a more precise recommendation.
Actually there is a huge gap between entry level cameras and “next higher level” equipment. Mind that you also will need specific software and editing expertise depending on the desired outcome.
