The One Ocean Hub VR Video at Sea World - Abu Dhabi
This one kept the audience spellbound for nearly two hours. It is a prime example of what the IVRPA webinars are meant to be, content of great interest to VR/XR creatives that you won’t easily find elsewhere or in this case… anywhere else.
What does it take to produce over 100 minutes of 44K video for a screen that is 718’ in circumference by 50’ tall? And oh by the way, you also have to design the camera systems for shooting this material, AND, you will be shooting most of it underwater, in our planet’s oceans.
This presentation takes you on a nearly 4-year adventure, from the first request for proposal to delivering the final archival elements to the client. It was a completely new experience, so there wasn’t a real precedent to guide them in creating the pipelines and systems needed.
From camera system design to the logistics of location shooting to offline editing to finishing and delivery, here is that story...
