In celebration of the 2nd Annual Global Virtual Reality Day on November 17th, 2018, the International Virtual Reality Professionals Association (IVRPA) and Virtual Room are joining forces to present the ultimate team-based VR experience using HTC Vive’s state of the art roomscale technology. It’s an exhilarating, immersive and collaborative adventure for all ages!
Try out Beat Saber, a unique VR rhythm game, where your goal is to slash the beats (represented by small cubes) as they are coming at you. Every beat indicates which saber you need to use and also the direction you need to match. This experience is free with RSVP. Space is limited.
For those who have a taste for an adventure that’s out of this world, experience “Travel Time Mission 1”, a collaborative VR experience for teams of 2 or more. Your flight is only $6.00 for 10 minutes (normally $12.00 – a savings of 50%) made payable at the venue.
The fun takes place at Virtual Room Los Angeles at 6434 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90028 from 9pm -11pm. Virtual Room is a five-minute walk on the Hollywood Walk of Fame located between the Hollywood/Highland and Hollywood/Vine Metro Station. Street parking is also available.
Refreshments will be provided by the IVRPA whose membership comprises 360 content creators including VR photographers and videographers, programmers, web developers, designers, software developers, hardware manufacturers, and artists. Networking is encouraged!
