360 taken in a small mangrove village on the northeastern coast of Natuna. Natuna Island is the largest and most populous island in the Middel Natuna Archipelago in the South China Sea. The island has not been left untouched by man, but still has a rich bird and primate life, green forests and is surrounded by reefs and crystal clear waters. Heavy logging is beginning to pose a threat to the island's native species. Ranai is the largest city on the island and the majority of the inhabitants live there. The island has seen increased investment by the Indonesian government and a larger military presence as this island is close to the Chinese Nine-Dash Line and the Chinese territorial claims. This has resulted in the island airport being upgraded and the road network improved.

The island is accessible by boat or by plane from Singapore or Jakarta via Batam.
